### Scenarios using one-time use card {#scenarios-using-one-time-use-card}

One-time use cards allow users to make a single purchase using the digital card. After one purchase, the remaining card balance can not be used. Users must be provided with an option to apply for new card when they pay off the initial plan. Best practices the for one-time use card experience are defined below:

**Scenario 1: Active plan**

* Clearly show that the card is not available for new purchases once a purchase has been made.
* Allow users to view the plan schedule (Total amount paid, amount due, future installment dates, payment method)
* Provide option to change the payment method
* Provide a way to make early payments

<br />

**Scenario 2: Completed plan**

* Card must no longer be accessible from the lender dashboard
* Card must be available to view from the payment details screen, and it must be labeled 'expired'
* Invite users to apply for a new card
