### Why test? {#why-test}

Usability testing, or user testing, is a step in the design process when you evaluate your product or service with actual users and receive feedback to create an even better consumer product.

Throughout the testing process, you can explore and analyze your target audience's behavior as they interact with your product.

### Testing plan {#testing-plan}

The following behaviors should be tested with the Installment plan experience:
Tip: The testing should seek to discover if users find the Installment plan easy to use. Tip: The testing should be conducted with a minimum of 10 people in either a moderated or unmoderated setting.

##### In testing, we are looking for answers to the following questions: {#in-testing-we-are-looking-for-answers-to-the-following-questions}

* Can users find and discover the installment offers on their existing cards?
* Are users able to understand the post purchase and during purchase installment conversion experience?
* Are users able to easily compare and select the plan of their choice?
* Can users quickly understand the written content?
* Do users understand what the BNPL offer is about?
* Can users understand how the payment is converted into multiple installments?
* Can the users understand how the plan cost is calculated?
* Can the users understand how to track and manage their active installment plans?
* Can the users understand how the early payment works?
* Do users find the visual design appealing?
* Do users say the product works as they expected it to?
* Do users say they think most people can learn to use this service quickly?
* Do users say they feel the Mastercard Installments is useful in managing their finances better?
