### The key user personas {#the-key-user-personas}

Based on our research, we created personas to help us shape our designs and highlight the demographics of a key user, for each of our installments products.

<br />

Meet Zoe, she is 30. She lives in the United States. She is a young, dynamic woman who likes to keep up with the latest technology and lifestyle trends.

<br />

Next, meet Carrie. She is 38 and lives in the United States. She is fairly settled in her routines and has two kids. She wants to maintain her current lifestyle and set herself up for a good future.

<br />

**Behaviors:** Zoe and Carrie use digital payments as much as possible and are also mindful of their expenditures, to set themselves up for a comfortable future. They have a credit and debit card and routinely carry a balance on both of them. They trust their banks and consider them to be trusted financial advisors.

<br />

**Desires:** They want to have flexible payment options, which increase their purchasing power and help them pay on a schedule that works for them. They also want the ability to deal with unexpected expenses without taking on long-term debt.

<br />

**Pain points:** When larger purchases are unaffordable, they want to spread the cost of such purchases into smaller, more manageable payments.
