# Retrieve Transaction Details

### User is in their rewards site and views their transaction history {#user-is-in-their-rewards-site-and-views-their-transaction-history}

The rewards website can pull information on a user's transaction activity associated with their account. The details that this API returns allows enablement for different kinds of views, such as a transaction view, a rewards earn history view, or even a transactions grouped by category view.
Note: There is another API with a similar use case under the Promotions Digital Enablement API. While similar, the back ends that support the APIs are different. Your Mastercard account manager will advise you on which API is best to use for your use case.
