Mexico Insights can be used to gain data volumes and counts for POS (dual message) and ATM (single message) transactions. Mexico Insights only provides monthly data until the latest completed month. Mexico Insights can be used to gain data volumes and counts for the period Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly. No, the API currently provides aggregated data based on predefined periods (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly). The API provides aggregated data volumes and counts, not detailed transaction-level information. The data is typically returned in JSON format. The API provides historical data for the past 5 years.
* **Category 1** : POS or credit transactions - has auth and clearing   
* **Category 2** : ATM or debit transactions - has auth   
The API is developed to provide only aggregated data, which means API responds with counters such as number of various types of transactions. This is the only information API consumer will have access to.   
Specific people in the MA networks Products team will be designated as responsible approvers to grant access to external entities in Production.

Response is a Json object with all the requested fields with formatting. Please find more information around the security in this API information transmission here. Transmission process is over secured (TLS) API call via MA APIGW using OAuth1.0a. Response is under 2 seconds.
