### Adyen optimizes consumer checkout by increasing card-on-file approval rates by 2.5%
Consumers are embracing the convenience of the online and subscription lifestyle. As a result, more consumers are storing their account credentials with their marketplaces to make checkout and payment easier. Adyen, a marketplace payment enabler, increases card-on-file (CoF) approval rates by 2.5% by updating Mastercard accounts in real-time via the Automatic Billing Updater (ABU) API.
