### Simplifying the Guest Checkout Experience

Guest checkout is a pain. With consumers shopping online more than even before, we are all inevitably shopping on new websites where we do not have our card information saved on file yet. If the merchant's site does not accept Click to Pay or Apple Pay, we're left with the most cumbersome option: physically getting up out of our seat to go fetch our wallet and manually key in our card information. But what if we don't actually have a physical card? How does a guest checkout process actually work? ![](https://static.developer.mastercard.com/content/img/solutions/digital-first/simplify_checkout.png)
