| Cardholder                        | The customer who is shopping online at the Merchant website. If eligible for Pay with Rewards, the customer's card will be part of a participating Issuer Rewards Program. A cardholder requesting a Pay with Reward via these APIs is a "Redeemer"                                                                                                                                                                          |
| Account                           | An Account is an issuer product that a cardholder uses. A cardholder may have multiple accounts. An individual account (e.g. credit card account) is the basis for Pay with Rewards requests, and the eligibility/good standing status of the relevant account will be provided back to the Merchant. Within the Mastercard Rewards System, Accounts are enrolled in a Program.                                              |
| Household                         | Mastercard's Rewards System allows for the points balances of several Accounts to be added together into a Household total. The primary Account can redeem from the Household points balance. For Pay with Rewards, the Merchant does not need to worry about whether the available points balance is from a single Account or a Household - this will be determined on the Mastercard side based on relevant Program rules. |
| Redemption                        | The process of converting rewards points into an eligible product or service via a specific transaction.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     |
| Conversion Factor/Conversion Rate | A numerical value used to calculate the cash equivalent value of a rewards point.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            |
| Program/Rewards                   | Program A loyalty program in which points are issued to members who are typically credit cardholders of an issuer (bank). For Pay with Rewards, the Rewards Program must be managed by Mastercard, with membership details, program rules and points balances stored within the Mastercard Rewards System.                                                                                                                   |
| Mastercard Rewards System (MRS)   | Mastercard's proprietary rewards platform and associated infrastructure, used to manage rewards services for its clients who are primarily, but not exclusively, Issuers.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    |
| Issuer                            | The bank or financial institution that has issued the Cardholder's credit card.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              |

| BCN                               | Bank Customer Number. Uniquely identifies a cardholder and can have several accounts associated to it. | BAN                               | Bank Account Number. Uniquely identifies a cardholder's account and can be a card number, bank account number or other client account number.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                |
| RANAC                             | Random Account Number. | TOKEN                             | Tokenized PAN.
