### Cardholders can easily set their preferences {#cardholders-can-easily-set-their-preferences}

If Pay with Rewards users want to establish notification preferences, they begin at their issuer website or mobile app dashboard. Preferences are set by the cardholder by selecting the "bell icon" located in the top-right corner of the dashboard. Cardholders can choose whether to turn "on" or "off" notification alerts for redemptions, reminders and ineligible purchases.

**Redemption notifications** tell users when they redeem rewards points. **Reminder notifications** tell users of eligible purchases if their Pay with Rewards is turned off and an **ineligible purchase notification** tells users if they have made a purchase that is ineligible for Pay with Rewards.
Note: **Ineligible notifications** are only sent when the cardholder has Pay with Rewards turned on and notifies them when a purchase is ineligible for redemption.
