This error occurs when an end user enters invalid credentials.

| **Common Causes**             | The customer's FI account username is invalid for Data Connect. It is advisable for them to log in directly to their financial institution's website to confirm and/or update their username and password.​                                                                                                                                            |
| **Troubleshooting Steps**     | Prompt the end user to reset their credentials via Data Connect Fix. Consumer credentials can be updated by presenting the Data Connect Fix flow to the consumer for the accounts for the `institutionLoginId` set.                                                                                                                                    |
