# New and upcoming changes to Aiia Enterprise

Recent and upcoming changes to Aiia Enterprise are published on this page.
Please note that this page is for new features or enhancements to the service. These are not breaking changes. We strive to avoid breaking changes to the service, and if any do arise, we will notify customers via email with six months prior written notice.
In addition to publishing information on this page, we also strive to communicate to customers through email about non-breaking changes, where the changes might be observable by customers. This can include for example new features, connectivity to new banks, or changes to provider IDs. We aim to issue email communications in advance of the change taking effect in production, but in some circumstances where an urgent fix is needed, this may not be possible and we may communicate after the fact.

These changes will be live in production from 1st August 2025. Our customers do not need to make any changes and can continue using our services as they do today. | June 2025 | United Kingdom | **Open Finance Standard V4.0** Open Finance Limited have published the Open Finance Standard version 4.0. More details are available on the Open Finance website. The upgrade to version 4 enhances security measures and aligns with global financial API standards, leading to better operational efficiency. These changes are currently available for HSBC and work is in progress to include rest of the Providers. We have made the necessary changes to support the Account Servicing Payment Service Provider (ASPSP) migration, so that our customers can continue to use our services as today with no impact. | April 2025 | Denmark | **Changes to Domestic Instant Payments** During Easter 2025, the Nordic Payments Council's (NPC's) new common Nordic payment standards for instant payments will be implemented. This will modernize the payment infrastructure for Instant Payments. As a result, Denmark' providers will make recipients name mandatory for instant domestic credit transfer requests. We will make changes in advance on 14th April 2025. The recipients name field will be made mandatory to synchronize with market changes. Customers will be required to send recipient's name with instant domestic credit transfer requests, or requests will result in failure. | April 2025 | United Kingdom | **AIS Consent Management** We introduced a new feature that enables Third Party Providers (TPPs) to notify the ASPSP when a Payment Service User (PSU) revokes their Account Information Service (AIS) consent last year and have expanded our coverage to include more Providers in the UK. This enables the TPPs to meet customer experience guidelines set by Open Finance Limited in the United Kingdom and enhance the PSU experience. We recently implemented important updates to our system to reflect the latest changes in the banking landscape in Germany. * Bodensee bank and Raiffeisen bank have merged to form Volks und Raiffeisen SüdBank eG. Payment and account information requests can no longer be made towards Bodensee bank. Payment Service Users (PSUs) previously associated with Bodensee bank should instead log in to Volks und Raiffeisen SüdBank eG. * Genobank Mainz eG has merged with VR Bank Alzey-Land-Schwabenheim eG to form Raiffeisenbank in Rheinhessen eG. Payment and account information requests can no longer be made towards Genobank Mainz eG. Payment Service Users (PSUs) previously associated with Genobank Mainz eG should instead log in to Raiffeisenbank Rheinhessen. * Raiffeisenbank Kempten-Oberallgäu eG and the former Allgäuer Volksbank eG Kempten-Sonthofen merged to become VR Bank Kempten-Oberallgäu eG. | March 2025 | Sweden \& Finland | **American Express Open Finance changes** American Express have decided to continue their Open Finance services only in France and the United Kingdom from 17th March 2025. Their Open Finance services will no longer be available in Sweden and Finland post the change. We have disabled the provider on 14th March 2025 and it is no longer possible to make requests towards this provider in Sweden and Finland. | February 2025 | All Markets | **Upgrade by Wise (AIS)** Wise have made changes from 5th February 2025 to their Open Finance services when requesting a Payment Service User's (PSU's) transaction details. For customers making requests to Wise, when fetching a PSU's account transaction details, the value of idSchema has changed in the response when fetching transaction details, improving the transaction tracking. There is no change in our services and our customers can continue to use them as you do today. If you have any questions or require further information, please contact customer support. |
| February 2025 | United Kingdom \& France | **American Express Open Finance changes** American Express have made changes in their Open Finance APIs from 3rd February to populate only the last four digits of a Primary Account Number (PAN), instead of the current last five digits when requesting account and transaction details. There is no change to our services however there will be change in the value of PAN sent by American Express when calling Get accounts and Get transactions endpoints. Instead of the value being the last five digits of the PAN it will just be the last four digits. Example: Instead of *"XXXX-XXXXXX-12345"* , it will be \* "1234"\* . | November 2024 - January 2025 | Spain \& Poland | **Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) renewal period extension from 90 days to 180 days** We have updated our application to extend the SCA renewal period from 90 days to 180 days in Spain and Poland, in line with the Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2). After the 180 days, Payment Service Users (PSUs) need to re-establish their consent by performing a supervised login to their Account Servicing Payment Service Providers (ASPSPs). This will apply to the new consents established after the change is live in production. | January 2025 | Finland | **SEPA credit transfer changes by Nordea bank in Finland** Nordea bank has made changes from 25th January 2025 to not support Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) credit transfer if both the Creditor reference and Creditor message fields are used when initiating a transfer request in Finland. We have made the necessary changes in advance to ensure that our customers can continue to make SEPA credit transfer requests as before. However we suggest that good practice for customers is to use only one of these fields, and not both, for SEPA credit transfers from Nordea in Finland. | January 2025 | Germany | **Upgrade by Santander in Germany** Santander has made changes from 8th January 2025 to no longer support the Redirect method for Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) in Germany. For customers making requests to Santander in Germany, we will now allow Payment Service Users (PSUs) to enter their credentials directly on our interface to ensure that our customers can continue to use Santander services. For ease of use, all the functionality and the flow have been maintained the same. However there may be some differences in the look and feel of the interface. In addition to this, source account details will now be mandatorily required for Payment Initiation Service (PIS) requests to Santander. We have handled this internally within our platform and our customers do not have to make any changes. There is no change to our API endpoints, and our customers can continue to use them as they do today. This update is applicable for both Account Information Service (AIS) and Payment Initiation Service (PIS) requests. | October - December 2024 | United Kingdom | **Uplift from FAPI 1.0 Implementer's Draft 2 to FAPI 1.0 Advanced Final** Open Finance Limited Standards V4.0 has announced the migration from FAPI 1.0 Implementer's Draft 2 to FAPI 1.0 Advanced Final by the end of 2024. This is a mandatory change for CMA9 banks in the United Kingdom. | December 2024 | France | **Enhanced App-to-App Journeys** We have improved our app-to-app journeys to enhance the Payment Service User (PSU) experience in France. These enhancements are designed to deliver a seamless experience across all platforms, including mobile devices (iOS and Android) and desktops. For PSUs initiating an Account Information Services (AIS) transaction on mobile, the transaction can now be completed directly through the providers mobile application. The journey ensures a smooth redirection to the provider's application and back. This streamlined approach enhances security, reduces friction and provides a user friendly experience. | November 2024 | Germany | **Improved Bank Selection** We have enhanced our front-end bank selector to make our search functionality easier and quicker. All our customers would see updated provider name values for some of the banks in Germany in responses from our endpoints. This would enable Payment Service Users (PSUs) to find their bank easily in Germany where there are a large number of banks. Customers using our bank selector, in addition to the updated provider name values, would also see provider names belonging to the same parent grouped together to make major bank groups easier to search. | November 2024 | All markets | **Revolut retrieve account information update** Revolut has made changes from 18th November 2024 to restrict the amount of data that can be accessed after the first five minutes of the user authorized consent. We have made the necessary changes in advance to ensure that our customers can continue to use Revolut services as they do today. There would be no change in the way our customers use our services, but there could be some changes in behavior for Account Information Service (AIS) requests to Revolut. When making AIS requests more than five minutes after a supervised login, customers will notice the following changes: * The list of accounts includes only those accounts that were available and consented to by the Payment Service User (PSU) at the time of authorizing the AIS consent. * Customers can no longer retrieve transactions older than 90 days, after the first five minutes after a supervised login.

To ensure that our customers can continue to use the existing features of PayPal services, before and after the upgrade we have made the necessary changes. There is no change in the way our customers use our services, but there could be some changes in behavior for Account Information Service (AIS) requests to PayPal. Payment Service Users (PSUs) who previously used PayPal need to re-establish their consent by performing a supervised log in, and account identifiers returned by PayPal may have changed since the upgrade. | September 2024 | Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway | **Payment status change for Nordea Bank** As part of continual improvement efforts, we have made changes to the payment statuses for domestic payments from Nordea bank to more accurately reflect the behaviors we see in production. Customers do not need to make any changes in response to this, and the change does not affect the probability of a payment successfully executing. | Gradual roll out from September 2024 | All markets | **Improved Bank Selection and Flow Orchestration** We have enhanced our front-end bank selector and flow orchestration for a smoother user experience. * Customers using our bank selector will experience an easier search functionality. The six most popular banks (instead of the typical 8) will be displayed on the top part of the screen. Users can continue to use the existing search bar to find any other provider. This balances the ability to quickly find and select from the most popular banks in a market with improving the ability to search and select other banks. * All other customers will benefit from smoother experience on redirection. After authentication, the user redirect to the Third-Party Provider (TPP) application will have reduced spinners and redirects.
