### Overview {#overview}

Aiia Enterprise is a platform that allows developers and businesses to integrate with banking and financial services through APIs.

The platform serves as a bridge between developers/businesses and banking services, providing a secure and standardized way to integrate with financial data and initiate payments. It allows developers to access user-permissioned banking information, making it useful for building financial applications, budgeting tools, and other services.
Note: Refer to our [Open Finance Connect Solution](https://developer.mastercard.com/product/open-banking-connect) if you require Payment Initiation Services (PIS) for the UK market.

### Key features {#key-features}

* **Connecting users and retrieving information:** Developers can use Aiia Enterprise to connect users with their bank accounts. The supervised login flow authenticates the end-user through Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), and the unattended login flow enables subsequent access without end-user input.

* **Accessing account data:** Once user consent is obtained, developers can use Aiia Enterprise APIs to fetch the accounts associated with an end-user, including information such as balance and transactions. This can be used to enable various use cases such as personal financial management, and credit decisioning.

* **Initiating payments:** Developers can use Aiia Enterprise APIs to initiate payments from end-users' accounts, enabling use cases such as e-commerce, account top-ups, and bill payments.

### Before you start {#before-you-start}
