This section covers optional features that you can use alongside the core Open
Finance Data use cases. Each feature builds on the standard account and
transaction data, so you can adopt the ones that fit your needs.
Note: These features are currently in Beta.

The following features are available:

* [Transaction Enrichment](https://developer.mastercard.com/open-finance-data/documentation/features/transaction-enrichment/index.md) adds categorization, entity extraction, and a structured taxonomy to raw transaction data, making transactions easier to understand and present.
* [Balance Check](https://developer.mastercard.com/open-finance-data/documentation/features/balance-check/index.md) performs a synchronous, on-demand balance check for a specific account, returning the most up-to-date balance directly from the data provider.
