# Initiate Inquiry - Cyber Only

Note: Customers are encouraged to use the [Initiate Inquiry endpoint](https://developer.mastercard.com/onboard-risk-check/documentation/use-cases/orc/initiate-inquiry/index.md) to obtain a comprehensive risk assessment.

The Cyber Only Initiate Inquiry legacy endpoint is used to directly create a request **ONLY** for CyberHealth and generate an IRN. The IRN will be needed to call the [Cyber Only Retrieve Inquiry endpoint](https://developer.mastercard.com/onboard-risk-check/documentation/use-cases/orc-cyber/inquiry-history-request/index.md) to retrieve results.
