**Verification** of merchant's **business identity** .  

* The Business Identity verification feature is designed to validate business information details provided by users, including address, name, tax ID, and more. Leveraging advanced algorithms and access to multiple data sources, this feature ensures accuracy and reliability in verifying business identities.
* By leveraging comprehensive data sources and advanced verification techniques, businesses can ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate the risk of inadvertently engaging with unverified entities.  

**Verification** of key individuals from the companies with whom customers are establishing relationships.

* With Matching on Persons of Significant Control, the customers can pass these names as part of their Business Verification request.  

**Input fields**

* **Data Input on Merchant/Entity:**

  * **Required INPUT fields:**
    * Requesting ICA
    * Legal Name
    * City
    * Postal Code
    * Country
    * Business Identification Number/BRN (required for non-US only)
    * National Tax ID/EIN (required for US only)
    * Jurisdiction of Incorporation (required for US Only)   

  * **Optional INPUT fields:**
    * Address
    * State   

* **Data Input on People of Significant Control (max. 3) - this is not a requirement, so all input fields are optional:**

    * First Name
    * Middle Name
    * First Surname
    * Second Surname
    * Full Name
    * Business Name

    * Postal Code

    * State/Province

**Verifying if data inputted is "Match", "No Match", or "Missing":**

* People of Significant Control (if input fields were inputted for this at point of inquiry submission).
  * Response includes:
    1. Found in Directors \& Officers "Match" or "No Match".
    2. Found in Company Ownership: "Match" or "No Match".
* Incorporation Details
* Business Status as "Active" or "Not Active"
