## Recent API Updates {#recent-api-updates}

Here you can find details about changes that were recently made to the Merchant Self Services API.

### September 2025 - New endpoint lets you delete a descriptor {#september-2025---new-endpoint-lets-you-delete-a-descriptor}

The `deleteRawDescriptor` endpoint is added to the Merchant Self Services API, which lets merchants and merchant partners delete a descriptor. As an example, you might want to delete a descriptor that you mistakenly added during onboarding.

## Previous API Updates {#previous-api-updates}

Ethoca Merchant Self Services now allows partners using Ethoca Alerts to onboard and manage merchants and merchant identifiers on their own. This update to the Merchant Self Services API includes additional fields that capture Alerts specific data.
