### Release Change Summary {#release-change-summary}

The MDES Platform will update Token Connect functionality in 2022 April (Q2) Release to introduce the following changes:

* Adding a new response code in the result parameter of the call back URL

### Change Description for Token Connect API in V2022 April (Q2) Release {#change-description-for-token-connect-api-in-v2022-april-q2-release}

**Change 1 Adding new response code in the result parameter of call back URL**

MDES is introducing a new response code - DUPLICATE_REQUEST in the result parameter of call back functionality. Token Requestor will send this response code in the callback URL if they received DUPLICATE_REQUEST during provisioning. Issuer should display appropriate message to consumer

### Mandate for Implementation {#mandate-for-implementation}

By April 30, 2022, this functionality will be available in Production, issuers who are supporting Token Connect should start supporting this functionality.

* Issuer should ensure to support new response code and display appropriate message to consumer.

Issuers are reminded that the information presented via the Token Connect includes personal data which is subject to data privacy laws. Issuer must satisfy themselves that the processing of such personal data is compliant with applicable privacy laws.
