# Pre-Release Notes May 2022

## Release Change Summary {#release-change-summary}

The MDES Platform v2022 May (Q2) Release will add new functionality to the Customer Service API. The following changes will be introduced:

1. A new endpoint `TokenRequestorSearch` will be added.

## Dates for Introduction of Release May 2022 {#dates-for-introduction-of-release-may-2022}

* MTF - 19 April 2022
* Production - 26 May 2022

## Change 1 - Introducing Token Requestor Search {#change-1---introducing-token-requestor-search}

A new endpoint `TokenRequestorSearch` will be introduced to allow searching for available information associated with a Token Requestor based on the Token Requestor ID value.

## Impact {#impact}

Issuers can choose to implement this new functionality in their systems, by following the requirements described in the Open API YAML specification.
Sufficient testing should be performed in order to prepare issuing systems to process the new request and response data.

### Mandate for Implementation {#mandate-for-implementation}

By 26 May 2022, when the v2022 May (Q2) Release will be available in Production, issuers wishing to use the functionality should perform the following changes:

* Change 1 will be available to all issuers integrated with the MDES Customer Service API.
* The new endpoint's specifications described in the YAML must be implemented as stipulated
* Adequate testing in MTF should be performed

### Personal data \& Privacy Note {#personal-data--privacy-note}

Issuers are reminded that the information presented via the MDES Customer Service API includes personal data which is subject to data privacy laws. Issuers must satisfy themselves that the processing of such personal data is compliant with applicable privacy laws.
