### 1. Updates to the Mastercom Extended Queues and Reports Specification {#1-updates-to-the-mastercom-extended-queues-and-reports-specification}

February 2026: Mastercard is updating the Mastercom Extended Queues and Reports Specification to include a Pending Documentation Report. This report helps customers identify dispute events that are pending document uploads within the allowed submission time frame.

### 2. Introducing Fraud Reporting in Mastercom Extended {#2-introducing-fraud-reporting-in-mastercom-extended}

December 2025: Mastercard is updating the Mastercom Extended API Transactions, Claims, Documents, and Fraud Specification to allow issuers to submit confirmed fraud to the Fraud and Loss Database.

### 3. Update of Mastercom Extended for Issuers and Acquirers in India {#3-update-of-mastercom-extended-for-issuers-and-acquirers-in-india}

November 2025: Mastercard has published updated Environment Domains and Mastercom Extended API specifications to include support for issuers and acquirers in India.

### 4. Update of Mastercom Extended API Transactions, Claims, and Documents Specification and Queues and Reports Specification {#4-update-of-mastercom-extended-api-transactions-claims-and-documents-specification-and-queues-and-reports-specification}

September 2025: Mastercard is enhancing the Mastercom Extended API with the following updates:
> * Updated the Transactions, Claims, and Documents Specification to support full and partial chargebacks and representments on Single Message purchases with cash back transactions.
> * Updated responses for the `GET /claims/{claim_id}` endpoint in the Transactions, Claims, and Documents Specification and the `GET /queues/{queue_id}/claims` endpoint in the Queues and Reports Specification.

### 5. Update of Mastercom Extended Transactions, Claims, and Documents API Specification {#5-update-of-mastercom-extended-transactions-claims-and-documents-api-specification}

August 2025: Mastercard is updating responses for the `POST /transactions/searches` and `GET /claims/{claim_id}` endpoints in the Transactions, Claims, and Documents Specification to include new parameters.

### 6. Mastercom API Migration to DigiCert Certificate Authority {#6--mastercom-api-migration-to-digicert-certificate-authority}

25 February 2025: Mastercard will be migrating from Entrust to DigiCert CA certificates, in response to the announcement made by Google and Mozilla to move away from Entrust CA. You are required to switch to DigiCert CA before March 24, 2025 in production to ensure a successful SSL handshake and avoid any service disruption.

### 7. Update of Mastercom Extended API Specification {#7-update-of-mastercom-extended-api-specification}

Mastercard is enhancing the existing Mastercom Extended API with the following updates:
> * Separating the existing specification into four files.
> * Adding additional dispute processing functionality to support Mastercard Send.

The Mastercom Extended API Single Message functionality, Phase 1A and 1B only, is released in production.

### 9. Update of Mastercom Extended API specifications {#9-update-of-mastercom-extended-api-specifications}

Mastercard has updated the Mastercom Extended API specifications to Version 1.0.0, including breaking changes. Any issuers or acquirers that have coded to previous specifications must update their code.
