# Moving to production

## Overview {#overview}

This guide follows the [Getting your credentials](https://developer.mastercard.com/mastercard-supplier-payment-agent/documentation/tutorials_guides/guides/impl-guide/index.md) guide and provides the steps required for moving your Mastercard Developers Sandbox project to the Production environment.

## 1. Request production access {#1-request-production-access}

1. From the **My Projects** screen, click the name of the project that you want to move to the Production environment.

2. Click the **Request Production Access** button.

## 2. Create a Production Key {#2-create-a-production-key}

You must create a Production Key using a Key Alias and Keystore Password, similar to what you did when setting up your Sandbox project. You will also have the option to upload an existing CSR.

1. Enter a Key Alias and Keystore Password, or upload an existing CSR.

2. Click **Submit**.

3. Download the Production Key.

## 3. Wait for approval {#3-wait-for-approval}

After creating the Production Key, you will be able to submit your request for access to our Production environment. This request will go directly to the Mastercard team.

After your request is reviewed and approved, you will receive an email confirming that you have access to the Production environment.
Note: If you encounter issues with your production access request, contact to your Mastercard representative.
