# Release Notes and Dates source: https://developer.mastercard.com/mastercard-send/documentation/send-release-notes/index.md ## API release dates {#api-release-dates} The main Mastercard Send API releases are quarterly, with each release delivered to the Mastercard Test Facility (MTF) environment before Production. Peak season freeze dates ensure platform stability during the holiday season, and they apply to Mastercard Send customers (participants) in all regions. Customer-requested changes to implementations/configurations cannot become effective on these business processing dates. Naturally, the Mastercard Send platform functionality and API services are unaffected by these dates. As Mastercard follows Agile methodology for release execution, enhancements identified in any release notes are subject to change, which could result in certain enhancements being delayed to a later release. If there are any changes, a final version of the release notes will be published on the Final Publication date. The release notes are published below (as a link). The proposed first and final publication dates are shown above.
