Your Mastercard representative can advise if other services may also benefit your intended solution. The services are available in most markets unless otherwise indicated in the tables below. See [more information](https://developer.mastercard.com/product/mastercard-send-parameter-management-services/). | Sponsor Bank | --- | ## Payment types {#payment-types} The Mastercard Send APIs use Payment Type codes to indicate the transaction types, which are defined in the program standards guides. For transactions from or to Mastercard accounts, Mastercard Send maps the code to a Mastercard Transaction Type Identifier (TTI) in the network message it sends to the Receiving Institution or Funding Issuer for approval. For transactions from or to Visa accounts, the code is mapped to a Visa Business Application Identifier (BAI). The table below shows the Payment Type codes, the Mastercard Send transaction APIs that support these codes, and the corresponding Mastercard Send Funding and Payment TTIs and Visa BAIs supported on the Mastercard Network and Visa Network, respectively. **NOTE:** Other transaction types and codes may be supported or added in the future. The TTIs used may differ from those shown. All transaction types are subject to eligibility and may be limited to particular countries or regions. When you register for Mastercard Send, you identify the API services and transaction types (payment types) applicable for your solution, which are then enabled by Mastercard during onboarding.
