# Mastercard Merchant Presented QR Release Notes source: https://developer.mastercard.com/mastercard-send/documentation/mpqr-release-notes/index.md ## API release dates {#api-release-dates} Mastercard Merchant Presented QR (MPQR) releases are quarterly, with each release delivered to the Mastercard Test Facility (MTF) environment before Production. The Mastercard Send peak season freeze dates for 2026 are 23 November 2026 -- 1 January 2027 inclusive, but may extend. Peak season freeze dates ensure platform stability during the holiday season, and they apply to Mastercard Send and MPQR customers (participants) in all regions. Customer-requested changes to implementations/configurations cannot become effective on these business processing dates. Naturally, the Mastercard Send platform functionality and API services are unaffected by these dates. As Mastercard follows Agile methodology for release execution, enhancements identified in any release notes are subject to change, which could result in certain enhancements being delayed to a later release. If there are any changes, a final version of the release notes will be published on the Final Publication date. The release notes are published below (as a link). The proposed first and final publication dates are shown above.
