# Country Codes

The following codes are applicable for the **Mastercard Send platform only** , because it interfaces with various payment gateways. The codes are the ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 (three-letter) country codes defined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Recent updates to this list:

* 16 January 2026: Added code QZZ for Kosovo and code ANT for Netherlands Antilles. Adjusted some of the country names.

**NOTE:** Some of the ISO codes listed below differ from the values shown in the *Quick Reference Booklet*, which are the values used by the Mastercard Core systems. When API requests with those ISO codes are routed to the Core systems, Mastercard Send will convert the codes as necessary.
