# Implementation
source: https://developer.mastercard.com/mastercard-send/documentation/implementation/index.md

This section provides **general** information relating to implementing Mastercard Send API services. For specific guidance on an API service, please refer to the Mastercard Developers documentation set for that API service.

Your Delivery Manager will oversee the implementation process and will be available to ensure successful end-to-end implementation. They will also engage the CIS team, which will help configure the MTF and Production environments, help with test cases, and so on.

See [Getting Started with the APIs](https://developer.mastercard.com/mastercard-send/documentation/implementation/getting-started/index.md).

## Implementing additional services {#implementing-additional-services}

The Mastercard Send additional optional services are intended for use with the main funding and payment services. An extra fee may apply for using some of the additional services, as set forth in the Mastercard Consolidated Billing System manual or otherwise communicated by Mastercard to the Program participant.

### Account Information, Account Verification, and Account Validation services {#account-information-account-verification-and-account-validation-services}

Customers implementing the [Account Information](https://developer.mastercard.com/mastercard-send-account-info/documentation/), [Account Verification](https://developer.mastercard.com/mastercard-send-avs/documentation/), and [Account Validation](https://developer.mastercard.com/mastercard-send/documentation/account-validation/) services typically do so at the same time as the main services, testing their funds transfer solution with those services in MTF before proceeding to production. The CIS team will assist with test cases.

You can use the same Mastercard Developers project and keys to access these services. To access the Account Validation service, you must add the **Mastercard Account Validation** API service to your project. See [Getting Started with the APIs](https://developer.mastercard.com/mastercard-send/documentation/implementation/getting-started/index.md).

If you choose to implement these additional services after launching your solution with the main services, you will need to ask your Mastercard representative or Account Manager to subscribe you to these additional services and initiate a new CIS implementation project. Otherwise, you will be unable to access these additional services in the MTF and production environments.

### Currency Conversion Calculator {#currency-conversion-calculator}

Customers implementing the [Currency Conversion Calculator](https://developer.mastercard.com/payment-currency-conversion/documentation/) service can try its sandbox APIs before requesting access to the production APIs. This service does not have MTF APIs and test cases.

When requesting production access in Mastercard Developers, you must provide your implementation project details and inform your Mastercard Implementation Manager, if you have an active Mastercard Send implementation project with the CIS team. Otherwise, you must inform your Mastercard representative. They will need to provide your production consumer key to the Mastercard SAM Application Support team to complete setup.
