The [Payment Transfer API](https://developer.mastercard.com/mastercard-send-person-to-person/documentation/api-reference/payment-transfer/index.md) has this functionality:

| Request Method |                                      Use                                       |
|----------------|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
| POST           | Create a person-to-person payment transfer                                     |
| GET            | Retrieve information on a payment transfer (including its status) by ID        |
| GET            | Retrieve information on a payment transfer (including its status) by reference |
