Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) is an alternative payment method available through the Mastercard Gateway that allows merchants, payment service providers, acquirers, and software vendors to offer instalment-based payment options during checkout.

BNPL enables customers to select a financing plan at checkout while merchants process transactions using the Mastercard Gateway transaction model. It supports payment authorization, transaction management, and payment status tracking through Mastercard Gateway APIs.

Use BNPL when you need to offer flexible payment options for customer purchases. BNPL supports deferred payment experiences and provider-based consumer financing.
