### 1. Locations version 1 deprecated {#1-locations-version-1-deprecated}

Version 1 of the Locations specification has been deprecated. If you have already integrated with version 1, please make every effort to switch to the latest Location Services API specification [here](https://developer.mastercard.com/locations-merchants/documentation/api-reference/index.md).

### 2. New Endpoint: Merchant Names {#2-new-endpoint-merchant-names}

We have introduced a new endpoint to provide search functionality for merchant names. The ***merchants-names*** endpoint allows you to retrieve a list of merchant names for various merchant types (e.g., PAYPASS, REPOWER, EASYSAVINGS, or CASHBACK), based on a partial merchant name provided by the user.

### 3. New Endpoints: Feedback Problem Types and Customer Feedback Submission {#3-new-endpoints-feedback-problem-types-and-customer-feedback-submission}

We have introduced two new endpoints to enhance feedback collection and issue reporting. The ***feedback-problems*** endpoint allows you to retrieve a list of predefined feedback problem types for various merchant types (e.g., PAYPASS, REPOWER, EASYSAVINGS, or CASHBACK), streamlining issue reporting. The ***customer-feedbacks*** endpoint enables you to submit customer feedback, allowing to efficiently report issues and help improve service quality.

### 4. Merchant Locations API Renamed to Location Services API {#4-merchant-locations-api-renamed-to-location-services-api}

We are pleased to announce that, effective April 2025, the Merchant Locations API has been renamed to the Location Services API. Please note that this change did not affect the functionality of the API.
