After successfully testing in the Sandbox environment, you are ready to move your project to Production. This enables the generation of keys necessary to access the Production environment.

## What you will learn {#what-you-will-learn}

* How to prepare your Fraud and Loss Database API project for the Production environment.
* How to create, import and export the necessary keys for Production.

## What you will need {#what-you-will-need}

Before moving your project to the Production environment:

* You must have requested the opening of a CIS project to enable the Fraud and Loss Database API from your Mastercard Customer Delivery contact.
* You must have received your CIS project number (CIS-xxxx-xxxxx) from Mastercard.
* Your Certificate Signing Request (CSR) file must be ready. It should contain your organization name, your domain name, and location. The CSR contains the public key that will be included in your certificate for OAuth authentication. Use your own key management system to generate the private key in a secure hardware store. The CSR file must be in .pem format.

### Step 3 - Provide information to the CIS Implementation Manager {#step-3---provide-information-to-the-cis-implementation-manager}

The final step in moving of your Fraud and Loss Database API project to the Mastercard Production environment involves working with your Mastercard Customer Implementation Services Implementation Manager (CIS IM). You must retrieve your Mastercard API Customer ID and provide it to your CIS IM. To retrieve the information, perform the following steps.

1. Paste the Client ID value into an e-mail and send it to your CIS IM. The first 48 characters of this key value (up to the exclamation point) will be the Mastercard API Client ID, which will be used in the Production environment. An example of the key value, with Client ID is represented in bold.
