## July 15, 2024 - New fields released for First-Party Trust program {#july-15-2024---new-fields-released-for-first-party-trust-program}

In the Alerts Push API, the following two new fields are now available for merchants who are registered for Mastercard's First-Party Trust program.

* `matchAlgorithm` is under `merchantIdentifiers` and provides details on how a transaction was matched.

* `ftpAssessmentStatus` provides insights on whether compelling evidence exists.

Check out the [Push API Reference](https://developer.mastercard.com/ethoca-alerts-for-merchants/documentation/api-reference/push-api-ref/index.md#apis) for more information about these new fields.

## Previous API Updates {#previous-api-updates}

The Ethoca Alerts for Merchants API was released September 2023 and includes these two important services:

* **Alerts Push (Outbound API)**

  The Alerts Push API is a webhook that lets merchants and merchant partners receive alerts if they're on the Ethoca network.
* **Alerts Outcome (Inbound API)**

  The Alerts Outcome endpoint lets merchants and merchant partners provide necessary outcome and feedback (such as `REFUNDED` and `NOT_SETTLED` messages) via an update that is made available to card issuers so that they know not to raise a chargeback.
