# Onboarding Checklist
source: https://developer.mastercard.com/enhanced-currency-conversion-calculator/documentation/tutorials-and-guides/onboarding-checklist/index.md

This checklist walks you through everything required to move the Enhanced Currency Conversion Calculator API from a fully tested Sandbox integration to an approved, working Production integration. It covers confirming your eligibility and subscription, and requesting and activating your Production keys.

## Prerequisites {#prerequisites}

Before starting this workflow, you should have completed integration and testing in the Sandbox environment with a 100% success rate across the scenarios in [Testing](https://developer.mastercard.com/enhanced-currency-conversion-calculator/documentation/testing/index.md).

## Step-by-Step Workflow {#step-by-step-workflow}

### 1. Contract and Eligibility Confirmation {#1-contract-and-eligibility-confirmation}

This step begins once you are ready to request Production access from your project dashboard. The Enhanced Currency Conversion Calculator API is offered under your existing Mastercard issuer relationship rather than a separate bespoke contract, so this step confirms your Interbank Card Association (ICA) number and your status as an EEA-based issuing customer, and establishes quarterly subscription billing under AN 3493, rather than requiring you to sign a new Customer Agreement. Based on the documentation available for this service, there is no separate KYC or compliance review step beyond accepting the standard Mastercard Developers Program Agreement at registration and providing the company profile details below --- if your organization is subject to additional internal compliance review, confirm that separately with your Mastercard contact.

* **Artifacts needed:** Your ICA number, Issuer Bank Name and Country, a business contact name, phone number and email address, and a description of how you intend to use and display the currency conversion data to cardholders.

  > ⚠️ The contract and eligibility review happens as part of the Production access review in Step 3.

This step is complete when your company profile is submitted through the project dashboard and Mastercard has confirmed your ICA and EEA-issuer eligibility.

### 2. MTF Validation {#2-mtf-validation}

The Enhanced Currency Conversion Calculator API does not provide a Market Test Facility (MTF) environment --- only Sandbox and Production are available (see [Environments](https://developer.mastercard.com/enhanced-currency-conversion-calculator/documentation/api-basics/index.md#environments)). This phase does not apply to this service. Proceed directly from Sandbox testing to Technical Promotion below.

### 3. Technical Promotion and Production Enablement {#3-technical-promotion-and-production-enablement}

This step begins once your company profile is submitted and your eligibility is confirmed. From your project dashboard, click **Request Production Access** and generate your Production OAuth 1.0a key, either by uploading your own Certificate Signing Request (CSR) or by using Mastercard's browser-based key generator --- see [API Keys and Access](https://developer.mastercard.com/enhanced-currency-conversion-calculator/documentation/api-basics/index.md#api-keys-and-access) for both methods. Mastercard reviews the request, and once approved, delivers your Production Consumer Key and signing key through the project dashboard, with a confirmation notification sent to your registered email address.

* **Artifacts needed:** A CSR file (or a keystore password if using Mastercard's key generator), and your submitted company profile from Step 1.

  > ⚠️ Mastercard access review and approval are completed within seven business days. If the access review is not completed within seven business days, contact your Mastercard Account Representative or select **Get Help** from the [Support](https://developer.mastercard.com/enhanced-currency-conversion-calculator/documentation/support/index.md) page.

This step is complete when you receive email confirmation that your Production Access request has been approved and your Production Consumer Key and signing key are available for download from the project dashboard.

## Escalation Paths {#escalation-paths}

If you have not received a response within a reasonable timeframe, escalate in the following order:

1. **Portal support** --- raise or check the status of your request through the Mastercard Developers support portal (see [Get Help](https://developer.mastercard.com/enhanced-currency-conversion-calculator/documentation/support/index.md#get-help)).
2. **Primary email contact** --- [apisupport@mastercard.com](mailto:apisupport@mastercard.com).
3. **SLA escalation email** --- if you still have not received a response within seven business days, email [apisupport@mastercard.com](mailto:apisupport@mastercard.com) referencing your existing ticket number in the subject line (for example, `[Ticket #12345] Production access escalation --- Enhanced Currency Conversion Calculator API`), and ask for an expected acknowledgment timeframe.
