# Easy Savings Specials Merchant Offers

## Overview {#overview}

Easy Savings Specials Merchant Offers API is a global redemption-based merchant offers platform. This API helps Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) save time and money by providing highly relevant offers in the categories SMEs want. SMEs can redeem the offer at checkout on the merchant website.  

The API enables the issuers to embed a localized merchant offers program directly into their website, app, or other channels. This allows SMEs to browse offers and view redemption details without leaving the issuer's environment. The issuers can also promote the program within their platforms. Embedding and promoting the program increases awareness, encourages usage, and drives commercial Point of Sale (POS) spending.  

The API is available at no-cost in **130+ countries** and in **21 languages**.

## How it works {#how-it-works}

The API enables issuers to distribute merchant offers to their SME business cardholders based on the enrolled Bank Identification Number (BIN). SME business cardholders browse the available offers within the issuer's environment and unlock redemption codes. Then SME business cardholders typically redeem offers by entering a promotion code at checkout or using a merchant URL that automatically applies the savings to their Mastercard SME business cards.
