### Why test? {#why-test}

Usability testing, or user testing, helps you evaluate your product or service with actual users. You can use their feedback to create an even better consumer product.

Throughout the testing process, you can explore and analyze your target audience's behavior as they interact with your product.

### Testing plan {#testing-plan}

The following behaviors should be tested with the Cross-Border Services experience:
Tip: The testing should be conducted with a minimum of 10 consumers in either a moderated or unmoderated setting.

##### In testing, we are looking for answers to the following questions: {#in-testing-we-are-looking-for-answers-to-the-following-questions}

* Are users able to complete key tasks such as making payments, tracking payments, viewing transaction history and managing recipients?
* Are users able to understand how the process of making cross-border payments works?
* Are users able to navigate multiple steps seamlessly and understand the task at hand?
* Do users find the language easy to understand?
* Are users able to find the key information like the exchange rate, fees, transfer speed and total they need to pay?
* Are users able to understand how the FX rates are calculated and applied to the transfer?
* Are users able to understand how the amount they pay and the amount the recipient gets is calculated?
* Are users able to understand how the recipient is created? Were there any fields or requirements that were unclear?
* Do users find the process of managing and saving recipient information intuitive and secure?
* Do users find the visual design of the experience to be clean and easy to understand?
* Do users feel that the experience provides them with the transparency and flexibility that they expect?
* Do users find the experience safe and trustworthy?
* Do users prefer using this product over other similar products?

Tip: As a guide, if **70%** or more of your users respond positively to each of the above questions, then you have created a great UX for Cross-Border Services!
