# Transfer money to an existing recipient

### User sends money internationally to an existing recipient (payment with Quote) {#user-sends-money-internationally-to-an-existing-recipient-payment-with-quote}

This journey shows how a user can transfer money to a saved contact, without having to manually enter the recipient details. Although recipient management is not a capability offered by the Cross-Border Services APIs, it is recommended that the OI builds this capability to streamline the money transfer process.

For instance, the sender makes a cross-border payment to an existing recipient through a money transfer app. Having previously sent money to the recipient, all details are saved in the recipient list. This allows the sender to easily initiate subsequent payments to the recipient without re-entering their information each time.

After specifying the amount to send, the sender views the exchange rate and total amount due. If applicable, they set their preferred fee option before selecting their funding account and carefully reviewing all payment details. Once satisfied, the sender confirms the transfer, successfully concluding the transaction.
