# Value Added Services (VAS)

Value Added Services (VAS) are optional APIs that support and strengthen the core payment flow. Use these APIs to validate addresses and account details before you send a payment, retrieve endpoint guidance, and exchange information with the Mastercard Request for Information (RFI) team to keep transactions moving.

The following table summarizes the Value Added Services and their primary use. For request and response payloads for customers contracted with MTS EU or MTS UK, each page links to the corresponding EU and UK specifications.
