# Transaction APIs

Transaction APIs cover the core money-movement flow of Cross-Border Services: pricing a transfer, initiating a payment, tracking its status, and managing balances. Use these APIs to quote an amount, confirm the rate, send funds to a Recipient, and follow the transaction through to completion.

The following table summarizes the Transaction APIs and their primary use. For request and response payloads for customers contracted with MTS EU or MTS UK, each page links to the corresponding EU and UK specifications.
