## Environments {#environments}

There are three Mastercard environments: Sandbox, Mastercard Test Facility (MTF), and Production.

* Start in Sandbox where you access API stubs that return simulated, static responses.
* MTF environment gives you access to full APIs in a production like environment where you can test out your fund transfer solutions
* Production environment is where you will complete testing and launch your solution.
