# Payment Stop Action Questions

The following questions may be returned for `CANCEL_WITH_BLOCK` and `BLOCK` actions. These questions help create a Payment Stop instruction that prevents future recurring payments matching specified card, merchant, and optional amount criteria.

>
> Use `isUserEditable` in the POST `/actions` response to determine whether the issuer experience should allow the cardholder to edit a survey element. For the questions on this page, the value is `false`, so the financial institution supplies or controls the value.

* For payment-facilitator transactions, provide both facilitator and sub-merchant identifiers when possible.

* **Data population:** The financial institution supplies the amount and currency.
* For a fixed amount, provide minimum amount and currency.
* For a range, provide minimum amount, maximum amount, and currency.
* If omitted, the amount is ignored and eligible payments matching the card and merchant identifiers can be blocked.
* **Validation:** Maximum amount must be greater than minimum amount.
* Use the merchant transaction currency from DE49, not the cardholder billing currency.
