# Test Clarity in Clearing Data source: https://developer.mastercard.com/consumer-clarity/documentation/clarity-in-clearing/cic-testing/index.md ## Overview {#overview} This article provides further guidance on how you can test the Consumer Clarity Merchant Details and Digital Receipts data that you received in the Mastercard Dual Message Clearing System. ## Testing the PDS fields from Clearing {#testing-the-pds-fields-from-clearing} To test the receipt of Consumer Clarity Merchant Details and Digital Receipts data in Dual Message Clearing System messages, use the [Mastercard Clearing Presentment Simulator (MCPS)](https://trc-techresource.mastercard.com/r/bundle/m_jw_en-us/page/d/en-US/pyl1643640678799.html). The simulator provides virtually all of the testing capabilities available with online testing. With the simulator, you can conduct extensive preparations for online testing in an offline environment. Note: The receipt URL provided in these test case responses is an example and doesn't represent an actual receipt. The receipt link that's returned takes an Amazon user to their Order History page for the merchant in the relevant region. Note that Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, and Amazon.co.uk all function like separate merchants.
