# Moving to Production

This guide follows the Getting your Credentials guide and provides the steps required for moving your Mastercard Developers project to production.

## Request production access {#request-production-access}

1. From the **My Projects** screen, click the name of the project that you want to move to production.
2. Click on the **Request Production Access** button.

## Creating a production key {#creating-a-production-key}

Create a Production Key using a **Key Alias** and **Keystore Password** . Alternatively, you have an option to upload an existing CSR. Click **Next**.

1. Enter a Key Alias \& Keystore password or upload an existing CSR.
2. Click **Submit**.
3. Download the **Production** keys.
4. Confirm that your request was submitted.

## Wait for approval {#wait-for-approval}

After creating the production key, submit your request for access to our Production environment. The request goes directly to the Mastercard team.

After your request is reviewed and approved, you will receive an email confirming that you have access to the Production environment.
