## Overview {#overview}

Mastercard is committed to supporting the adoption of the most up‑to‑date BIN data. To advance this effort, we introduced a new plan that provides full access to U.S. acquirers, as well as organizations that process transactions through a U.S.-based acquirer. This includes global PSPs, global payment facilitators, and global merchants with U.S. operations.

## Features {#features}

The Acquirer Sponsored Plan offers a flexible and comprehensive set of API options for accessing BIN data, designed to support a broad range of use cases. We strongly recommend retrieving the full BIN dataset using the /bin-ranges endpoint, leveraging its pagination and filtering capabilities. This approach is particularly effective for batch processing, large‑scale analysis, or integration into broader datasets. The full dataset may be fetched once per day and cached within your systems for subsequent use, providing the most efficient and performant method of data retrieval and utilization.

Alternatively, you may perform a direct single‑BIN lookup, which is well‑suited for offline use cases involving individual transaction checks.

To get started and take full advantage of these features, we recommend exploring the [Tutorials and Guides](https://developer.mastercard.com/bin-lookup/documentation/tutorials-and-guides/index.md) section in the documentation. There, you'll find step-by-step instructions, example use cases, and best practices to help you integrate and utilize the BIN Lookup API effectively.

## Data Elements {#data-elements}

The Acquirer Sponsored Plan provides all the essential BIN data parameters that merchants require. For a detailed list of data elements included in this plan, refer to the [Data Elements Section](https://developer.mastercard.com/bin-lookup/documentation/api-section/data-explanations/index.md) in the *API Reference* section.
Note: The data in the sandbox environment is dummy data and is intended for testing purposes only.

## Pricing {#pricing}

Acquirers participating in the Digital Enablement Fee Program in US will be charged according to the terms outlined in the program's agreement, which is specifically designed for acquirers in United States.

Organizations other than acquirers will not be charged by Mastercard.

## Apply {#apply}

Enrolling in the program is simple and seamless through Mastercard Developers. When requesting production access, you will be prompted to select the plans. Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by Mastercard. This streamlined process allows you to quickly integrate and start leveraging the benefits of the program without unnecessary delays.
