# Paying a bill right away

In addition to scheduling a bill to be paid on a future date or enrolling it in AutoPay, account holders can also pay a bill at any time using their dashboard. The journey to pay a bill in the moment is essentially the same as scheduling a bill to be paid on a future date. The only difference is that the bill payment process begins as soon as the account holder "confirms the action" to pay the bill now.
