# Request Prod Access

## What you will learn {#what-you-will-learn}

* Obtain the keys required for the PROD environment.
* Get access to the PROD environment.

Click **Next** to begin.

### Step 1 - Access API Project {#step-1---access-api-project}

Once you are logged into [Mastercard Developers](https://developer.mastercard.com/), go to the My Projects section and click **the project you created for Sandbox access**.

### Step 2 - Finding where to request access {#step-2---finding-where-to-request-access}

Click **Request Production Access**

### Step 3 - Project credentials {#step-3---project-credentials}

This page will generate the credentials necessary to access the service. The key alias will be visible from the project page under "Sandbox Credentials", however, make sure to store the keystore password in a safe place as you will not be able to view it later. This information cannot be changed later.

When ready click **Proceed**

### Step 4 - Additional Credentials {#step-4---additional-credentials}

Click on **Update Project** to update your project and generate the client encryption key.

### Step 5 - Update project {#step-5---update-project}

Download the files and store them in a safe place. You can also download the client encryption key from the Sandbox credentials tab in your project dashboard, but this is the only time you'll be able to download the client verification key.

Once ready, click **Open Project**.

### Step 6 - Production credentials {#step-6---production-credentials}

The project screen will display:

* The OAuth key.
* The Client Encryption Key.

You now have the certificates for authentication and encryption to invoke the Benefit Allocation Service API in the Production environment.
