## Overview {#overview}

This tutorial guides you to:

* create a new project

## Creating a new API project {#creating-a-new-api-project}

1. To create a project, in the top-right corner of the screen, click **Create New Project**.
2. Enter a relevant **Project name**.
3. Select **Yes** if you are creating the project on behalf of a issuer.
   1. Provide the **Client company name**.

## Select API service {#select-api-service}

1. From the dropdown list, select **Authentication Facilitator MTF** API.
2. Select the **Commercial countries** and click **Proceed** . Note: If you are creating a project on-behalf of a client, the Commercial countries represent where your client is doing business.

## Generating Sandbox Credentials {#generating-sandbox-credentials}

1. Enter the **Key alias** and **keystore password** and click **Create Project**.
2. Download your Sandbox credentials. The downloaded key file contains the Sandbox key information. You can ignore it as this API does not use Sandbox.
